Okay...I'm a slacker...but not in my workouts! Booyah! Day 16 was Cardio X, Day 17 was Shoulders, Arms, and ABs and Day 18 was the glorious Yoga X. Bring it and Brought it! Feeling great. I lost 1/2 lb today. About time. Body is tightening up but the clothes have not loosened yet. I was able to make it through Yoga much better than previously. I had a lot on my mind though so I think I wasn't there for at least 35 minutes of the workout. "Clearing" my mind wasn't really an option. Food was good today though I had some funky oatmeal this morning. I'm convinced it was Barley but the chef said it was old fashioned oats. Weird but okay.
Legs/back and abs are tomorrow morning!

Day 15
Core Synergistics! Yeah....I was able to do the boat move and superman to banana this time around. I was able to finish most of the moves but still could perform everything up to par. It's getting better but I have a feeling it make take another 2 months. It's supposed to work your "core" a lot but I find my shoulders are giving out with all the push-ups and plank movements.
Soreness level is a 2 today. I did go to the Chiropracter for a 5 week tune-up. I'm not sure if I'll go back. The orthotics I got for working out seem to help my knees quite a bit and I've been faithful on the supplements this time around.
Sidenote: signed my dog Sophie up for obedience school again. This will be her second time. I'll probably start a second blog when that starts in February!

Day 14
X-stretch is done! Definitely sore after how hard I brought it yesterday in Kenpo. The stretch felt great though I'm usually ready to be done about 40 minutes in. I didn't realize there were so many different stretches for each part of the body. Also my stomach gets in the way for the double leg hamstring stretch and seated spinal twist stretch.
My husband opted to through in Ab ripper prior to the stretch. I thought about it but declined. I know I have core synergistics tomorrow and I want to give it all I have.

I kicked butt on Kenpo tonight. I was able to do every move and keep up with everyone. I've been practicing moving my hips with the jabs and everything fell into place tonight. My heart rate was around the 80% range most of the time and I was sweating by the time I was done.
This is a workout that I hated during round 1 and tonight I actually liked it.
It's been a few hours and my lower back is a litte sore. I figured it would happen as my range of motion in my kicks was pretty high.
X-stretch tomorrow and that will feel good. Week 2 almost in the bag!

Day 13
Yesterday was Legs and Back and then the Ab ripper. I stuck with the same weights I used last week and was able to finish all the moves. I even jumped during the Debbie Sieber 80/20 speed squats. Ouch! I'm using the bands for my pull ups and increased each round by 2 over last week. This morning I'm sore but nothing compared to last week. This means I should increase my weight next week.
Ab ripper was still tough after LB but this time around I'm really concentrating on taking my time and not rushing through just to finish. I feel it minimally in my abs this morning so i think I'm on the right track.
Yesterday food was good until last night. Kids have ski lessons and Kevin and I go to a nearby bar to wait. We had a couple and then decided it was a good idea to go get ribs after the kids were done.

I just finished Yoga X. I wished I had words of wisdom, but it still sucks. I did make it through the whole thing and I found it was easier if I just really concentrated on each move and checking my body alignment. It seemed to make the time pass quicker and the pain a little less.
I am having trouble keeping my back foot flat when I go into the Warrior poses. When I get it flat, my body comes up more and I don't seem to get a deep lunge. Also...has anyone else noticed that Tony talks more and takes longer when the right leg is in a lunge? I'll need to start switching it up or my right leg will have an advantage over my left. Overall I feel great today and pushed hard on the yoga belly 7.

Happy New Year! Didn't have time to post yesterday. I got in 45 minutes of shoulders and Arms but didn't do the ABS. Not sure if I should do them today though since it's on the schedule for tomorrow. Food intake was bad last night as far as the quality of food but I didn't think I over did it too much! and I stopped after 3 normal size glasses of wine.
Feeling good today but still dehydrated. Had a horrible headache yesterday even before the festivities. I've been chugging water all morning trying to get better. I need to buckle down on the water thing now that the weather is so cold and the heater keeps kicking on. Need to pull out the humidifier.
Anyway...yoga is on the docket today. I will post later after it's done. We'll see how the dehydration plays a role if it even does at all!
